About Cobmitt

COBMITT is an Irish company created by Dr Conor O’Brien, a leading Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist and Consultant in Sports & Exercise Medicine.

Dr O’Brien has been in practice in Ireland for over 30 years. During the course of his clinical work, he has seen many hands and wrist injuries in cyclists, typists, wheelchair users and others.

Unlike other cycling gloves on the market, COBMITT  has been specifically designed by a medical doctor to protect the parts of the wrist and hand most vulnerable to median and ulnar nerve injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Guyon’s Canal and soft tissue injuries at the base of the wrist.

Cobmitt cycling gloves are:

  • Made of synthetic leather palm.
  • Anti-slip silicone printing on the palm side.
  • Thick abrasion resistant pads on the palm side.
  • The backhand is made of 100% Polyester comfortable stretch fabric.
  • Terry towel on thumb for maximum perspiration absorption.
  • Rubber hook and loop closure strap.
